Beta Testing Guidelines

Recommendations for reporting bugs:

1. I find it very helpful to be as specific and comprehensive as seems reasonable and useful.
   
   
2. I hope that you don't mind using plain english, fully spelled out words, that kind of thing.
   
   
3. Although I quite understand the desire to express frustration and anger in these reports, I want to assure you that doing so won't increase the speed or likelihood of resolution. Such expression does, however, wear. If I could ask for your indulgence to compose bug reports using an even, technical and friendly tone.

Activities likely to involve bugs:

1. rotating
2. grouping and ungrouping
3. moving and resizing various windows
4. printing (all the views)
5. cut and paste
6. duplicating
7. correctly restoring a saved file (settings, object characteristics, etc.)
8. drag and drop
9. undo and redo
10. selecting
11. editing
12. using various menus
13. smart object authoring
